Welcome to the Project Scientist Blog!

We’re blogging like it’s 1999. Because if low-rise jeans and flip phones can make a comeback, why not blogs?

In a world of clickbait headlines, 15-second reels, and nonstop news cycles, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. We’re constantly consuming, but are we really absorbing? That’s why we’re carving out a space for something different—thoughtful, engaging, and (slightly) longer-form content that doesn’t disappear in an algorithm shuffle.

This blog is our chance to take you deeper into our mission, our work, and the incredible people who make up the Project Scientist community. Here, you’ll find:

  • Women in STEM – Spotlights on trailblazers, innovators, and game-changers in science, technology, engineering, and math.
  • STEM Education & Careers – Insightful discussions on learning pathways, career journeys, and the future of STEM.
  • Project Scientist Stories – Firsthand experiences from our students, volunteers, and staff that bring our work to life.
  • Media & Pop Culture in STEM – Book reviews, must-watch TV shows, and fun ways STEM shows up in the world around us.

Expect to hear from our students, see guest posts from inspiring women in STEM, and get the inside scoop on what’s happening in our programs. Sure, we’ll share updates and news, but more importantly, we want this to be a space where you can reflect, discover, and be part of the conversation.

And since today is launch day, we’ve got plenty for you to dive into! Check out:

So grab a cup of coffee, stay awhile, and share this with a friend! We’re just getting started, and we’re thrilled to have you here.
