Tabitha Grimes

Tabitha Grimes is the Global Quality Management System Program Manager for Trane Technologies located in Davidson, NC. She obtained a MBA with a focus on Environmental Compliance and Sustainability from Southern New Hampshire University and her B.S in Mechanical Engineering from UNH - Manchester.

Tabitha started out her career path working for a small business focusing on patent design and engineering until she decided to pursue her own business in HVAC Design Consulting with a heavy focus on Energy Star LEED building design. A sudden change in career paths landed her in a quality role for Timken Bearings where she discovered her passion! Since then, she has worked for various companies instilling a quality mindset and driving continuous improvement.

Tabitha is orginally from New Hampshire but relocated to North Carolina where she lives with her wife and two teenage boys (as well as 3 dogs and 3 cats). Tabitha has a passion for STEAM education and has spent a lot of her career volunteering and advocating for STEAM education. She served as a volunteer for the Young Inventors Program for almost 10 years before she relocated. She hopes to inspire girls of all ages to shoot for their dreams and never give up by using her own story/challenges as inspriation.
