Favorite Woman in STEM: Dr. Nalini Nadkarni "Queen of the Canopy" Tree Canopy Ecologist, National Geographic Explorer because she's simply amazing! A firecracker of a women in a small package who didn't take no for an answer. Who wouldn't love to climb high into the treetops of fabulous forests to learn, explore, discover, take in the view, and see things never known before on the surface of the earth. Plus, she is so cool that a Barbie was created in her likeness.
