Erica Yung

Board Member

Erica Yung has spent her career helping the world's largest companies reimagine what's possible—and she believes that same sense of possibility should be available to every child, regardless of gender. As a mother of two young children, she sees Project Scientist's mission through both a professional and personal lens. She joined the Board to help build a future where her daughter and son grow up knowing that curiosity and ambition in STEM belong to everyone.

Erica is a Partner at PwC, where she sits at the forefront of one of the most defining shifts in business today: the convergence of front office strategy and artificial intelligence. She partners with Fortune 500 companies across the technology and life sciences industries, guiding them through large-scale AI-driven transformations that reshape how they operate, compete, and connect with customers. Her work lives at the intersection of bold vision and practical execution—helping leaders not just understand emerging technology, but put it to work.

It is that same perspective that fuels her commitment to Project Scientist. As AI reshapes industries and creates entirely new career paths, Erica believes the question of who gets access to STEM education early on will define who gets to shape the future. She is determined to ensure that more young people—especially girls—are part of that conversation from the start.

With nearly two decades in management consulting, Erica has developed a reputation for turning complex, enterprise-wide challenges into clear strategies that deliver real results. She brings that same clarity and drive to every boardroom she enters.

Erica holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family.
