Bridgette Bell McAdoo

Board Chair

Bridgette Bell is a distinguished C-suite executive with over 20 years of experience driving strategic outcomes for global organizations including Yum! Brands, United Technologies Corporation, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and currently, Genesys. Throughout her career, she has delivered stakeholder and shareholder value by spearheading global initiatives focused on cost optimization, operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and sustainable growth.

Bridgette is widely regarded as a trusted advisor to boards and executive leadership teams, offering expertise in governance, environmental regulation and measurement, compliance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Her forward-looking perspective on sustainability encompasses emerging issues such as the ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) and other critical technological developments.

As Chief Sustainability Officer at Genesys—a global SaaS leader in AI-powered experience orchestration with over $2 billion in revenue—Bridgette architected and led the company’s sustainability strategy from the ground up. Under her leadership, Genesys has achieved significant milestones, including year-over-year reductions in global operational emissions, increased workforce representation of women and underrepresented groups, and the development of the company’s AI & Ethics Guidelines for responsible AI design and use.

Her impact has earned Genesys widespread recognition, including being named Company of the Year for Sustainability in 2023 by leading tech analysts and a finalist for three World Sustainability Awards in 2024. The company has been celebrated for its “impressive financial performance, brand equity, and strong overall sustainability

performance.”

In addition to her corporate leadership, Bridgette serves as the current Chair of the Board of Directors for Project Scientist, a nonprofit dedicated to delivering high-quality STEAM programming to underserved girls. She has also contributed her insights as a member of the advisory board for the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering.

Bridgette holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Florida A&M University and an MBA from Claremont Graduate University. She resides in the Washington, D.C. area, where she enjoys food, wine, wellness, and international travel.
