Anila Yadavalli

Scientific Advisory Council Member

Anila Yadavalli is from San Jose, California and is now a lecturer in the Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. She obtained her PhD in mathematics from NC State University.

Anila has been teaching mathematics in various contexts for about 10 years. In the past, she has worked for the University of Minnesota Talented Youth Mathematics Program (UMTYMP) as well as the Prison University Project at San Quentin State Prison. She loves getting students excited about mathematics and is passionate about improving higher education in STEM.
