Project Scientist and Angel C. Reese Foundation Launch “Me Bound” — A Groundbreaking Leadership and STEM Experience for Girls Nationwide

The MeBound Leadership initiative, a powerful collaboration between the Angel C. Reese Foundation and Project Scientist, launched in Spring 2026 and will continue throughout the year through out-of-school clubs and summer camps in partnership with schools and community partners across the United States and Mexico.

The MeBound Leadership initiative sends a clear message:

Girls don’t just belong in STEM — they are leaders, innovators, and boundary-breakers.

By combining Project Scientist’s expertise in STEM equity with Angel C. Reese’s leadership on and off the court, the MeBound curriculum will empower girls nationwide to own their brilliance, develop resilience, and step into leadership across every area of life. This initiative goes beyond experiments and equations; it shows that resilience is a superpower, leadership is a birthright, and STEM offers a canvas for a boundless future.

Key Elements of the Me Bound Initiative

Leadership Building: Confidence, communication, and decision-making skills.

Resilience Training: Perseverance through hands-on challenges and growth mindset practices.

STEAM Exploration: Cutting-edge topics with real-world impact, including the physics behind sports, the chemistry in cosmetology, and sustainable fashion for climate justice. These topics are just the start as they are infused with the Project Scientist Engineering Design Process.

What they're saying:

“When a girl declares, ‘I’m Me Bound,’ she’s declaring she’s fearless, limitless, and already powerful. This collaboration with the Angel C. Reese Foundation proves what’s possible when brilliance and resilience meet.”
